Police ID Danbury Man Killed in Industrial Accident: UPDATE
The accident occurred early Friday evening.

NEW MILFORD, CT — Police have identified the worker killed in a conveyor belt accident in town early Friday evening, the News-Times reported.
Daniel Kendrick, 29, of Danbury, a production operator at New Milford Block and Supply, died after he became trapped in a conveyor belt system at the plant, which is located at 574 Danbury Road.
Kendrick had been missing, according to Connecticut News Alert, and his body was later discovered in the conveyor belt system used to move cement blocks. Police were first on the scene shortly after 6 p.m. on Friday.

"The incident is under investigation by the New Milford PD, The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration," police said in a release.
