The Oratory, located in the northwest corner of New Milford just off South Kent Rd, has been without a Pastor since Bishop Alex McCullough retired and moved to New York in January. The Oratory is a Christian Retreat Center and has been in operation continuously since 1965 at their present location of 8 Oratory Lane, Gaylordsville, CT.
“The Oratory is most delighted that Dan agreed to come back to the Oratory. Dan’s credentials, his enthusiasm, his love for helping people and his devotion to our Lord, Jesus Christ, made him the perfect choice to lead the spiritual direction of the Oratory.” Said Gerald Porricelli, President of the Board of Directors.

“I am very excited to be back at the Oratory and to be back in the Northwest Hills of Connecticut. The New Milford/Kent area is so special and peaceful. Once COVID restrictions are lifted we will be re-opening the Oratory’s building, until then I plan to be very active with online ministry for the Oratory. The Oratory is a place for all (of any denomination or none at all) to come and find comfort, peace and healing. We listen love and pray for all who come here. I intend my ministry at the Oratory to follow in the founder’s, Benjamin Priest’s, philosophy of accepting and loving everyone as they are and as they come to us.” Said Dan Morton.
