New Snow Day Parking Rules in New Milford
The new procedures are meant to allow for a more efficient snow removal

NEW MILFORD, CT — Just in time for the latest storm, New Milford has introduced a new snow day protocols for residents parking at the Patriot Way and Railroad Street lots.
Motorists who leave their car overnight at the Patriot Way lot are subject to odd- and even-day restrictions. Signs have been installed that make it clear to resodents where to park overnight depending upon the number on the calendar.
If the town declares a snow emergency the Railroad Street parking lot, attached to the railroad station, will close at midnight during the snow event to allow for proper plowing of the parking lot.
