Obituary: Lawrence Martin Holm Jr., 51, of New Milford

NEW MILFORD, CT — Lawrence Martin Holm Jr. of New Milford passed away Saturday, October 27, 2018 in Danbury Hospital at the age of 51. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Laura Stiger Holm.

Larry was born April 1, 1967 in Danbury, son of Raffaela Ann Hourin and the late Lawrence Martin Holm Sr. He was a graduate of Henry Abbott Technical Regional Vocational High School. He enjoyed hunting and was an avid fisherman. He was a past president of Danbury Fishing & Gaming Club. He worked as a facilities maintenance director at the Regional YMCA and Maplewood Assisted Living.

In addition to his mother, Raffaela, he is survived by his stepfather, Doug Hourin, his sister, Mariann Gianfranceschi (Michael) of Brookfield, his brother Philip Ross (Cathy) of Roxbury, and his sisters-in-law Linda Allegro of Deltona, FL, Nancy LaBarre of Deltona, FL, Maryellen Huntley of Danbury, Maureen Schaedler of New Milford and Tracy Mendelson of Southbury, and their husbands. He was also predeceased by his brother, Michael Ross.
