A Positive Force In Helping Others: New Milford Local Hero

NEW MILFORD, CT — When times are tough, heroes emerge. We all know someone who's making a difference right now as we live through unprecedented and changing times.

Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize these heroes making a difference in their communities. Together with Ring, we’re working to let all your neighbors know about these outstanding people and their stories.

Hero's job: Child and elder care

Reason for recognition: She has organized collecting and distributing arts and crafts items for area nursing homes, collecting good and personal items for distribution to people in need, knitted and sewn little ear savers for hundreds of healthcare workers in our area.

One thing to know: She is a constant and positive force in helping others.
