Schedule of New Milford Road Work Updated

NEW MILFORD, CT — Mayor Pete Bass has released an updated schedule of road work in town:

• Long Mountain Rdoad: Milling moving to phase 3 of the project. Paving on phase 2 later this week weather permitting.
• Blue Bonnett: Milling to begin today.
• Littlefield Rd: Milling of the road completed. Paving to begin this week, weather permitting.
• Carmen Hill: Prep work this week, paving scheduled for next week, weather permitting.
• Mill Street Bridge: Working on base for roadway. Tentative paving Nov. 2, weather permitting.
• Squire Hill: Drainage and tree work. Milling work will begin on the parts of the road with heavy potholes with a overlay put on for this winter for safety. More info on this later this week.
• Pickett District Railroad Crossing: Work will begin this week. Tentative completion is end of this week, weather permitting.
