TORRINGTON, CT --- Whether it's through their personality, looks, hobbies or a combination of everything, daughters become a reflection of the woman who raised them. With Mother's Day 2018 this weekend, we asked Patch readers across Connecticut to share their "mother-daughter lookalike" photos.

It doesn't matter how old the kids are, they'll always be your babies! and part of the fun of motherhood is watching your children grow up and enjoy the same things that you love.

Karen Thomas, a Certified Etiquette Educator in nearby Torrington, says it was relatively late in the game before she realized how much her daughter Michaelanne Albreada resembled her.

"I never realized how much we looked alike until she started high school and everyone else mentioned our 'mini me' look alike," Karen told The Patch. "We are realizing how much we are alike as we grow older not only in our mannerisms, but love of German shepherds, fashion and obsessions with designer purses and shoes!!"
