Newtown Retail Space, Apartments Coming Summer of 2015 on Fairfield Hills Campus

Sixteen thousand square feet of prime real estate will become available in the summer of 2015 in the Fairfield Hills Campus, according to Advantage Realty. The ground floor location is best suited for use as a restaurant or daycare due to the outdoor seating or play area adjacent to the space.

Claris Construction has an application pending with the Newtown Planning and Zoning Department for the reconstruction of Woodbury Hall on the Fairfield Hills Campus, according to a representative with Advantage Realty. The Campus currently includes the Newtown Youth Academy, Newtown Town Hall and its departments.

The building was originally constructed in 1933 as part of the Fairfield Hills Campus and was primarily used for staff residency. Free parking is available and is located next to a beautiful courtyard.

The new structure will contain 30,000 square feet on three floors. The three new floors will be a mix of first floor retail space, second floor office space and third floor apartments. The building will be very visible to travelers from the 4-way traffic signal at Wasserman Way near Reed Intermediate School.
