North Branford Police Grow Beards, Raise $1,200 To Fight Cancer

Several North Branford police officers gave up shaving during the month of November to raise funds for cancer research at Middlesex Health.

NORTH BRANFORD, CT - The North Branford Police Department raised more than $1,200 for cancer research during ‘No Shave November.’

The department had this to say about their efforts on social media on Friday morning.

“This morning, Officer (Thomas) Pacelli had the pleasure of dropping off our ‘No Shave November’ contributions to Middlesex Health Cancer Center. North Branford Police Department raised just over $1,200 last month for this great cause!

“No-Shave November is a month-long journey during which participants (North Branford Police) forgo shaving and grooming in order to evoke conversation and raise cancer awareness.”
