Rec Director Pam Gery: There are numerous new classes that will be starting in January. Exercise classes, children's classes and more. Visit our website at www.nbparkrec.com.

North Branford Patch: What's something residents should know? 
Gery: The Parks & Recreation Department has some great Christmas ideas!  Buy a trip to see the Uconn girls vs. Notre Dame on January 5 or Spiderman on Broadway for May 2013. We make up great gift certificates for these type of gifts. We also have some great Potato Festival stocking stuffers: drawstring bags, key chains, zip drives, note pads, koozies and t-shirts!  

North Branford Patch: How do you like to give back during the holiday season? 
Gery: It is the time of year when I make dozens and dozens of chocolate truffles and give them out to neighbors and friends.
