3 Questions for Senior Center Supervisor Judy Barron: May 2013

North Branford Patch: What's new at the North Branford Senior Center?
Judy Barron: We have a lot going on!  Some of our newest groups include a New Discussion Group (Meets every other Wednesday @ 10:30), a Pinochle Group (meets Thursday at 10:30), a Mah-Jong group (meets Mondays @ 10:30), and our Walking group has begun again for the season (meets Wednesdays @ 10:30, weather-permitting). Come join in!

North Branford Patch: What's something residents need to know?
Judy Barron:  We always enjoy running fun trips for our participants and we understand unforeseen circumstances at times. Should you have to cancel out on a trip our refund policy is as follows (please note that programs and trips are mainly self-supporting): A FULL refund is automatically given for any trip or program that is cancelled by the Senior Center. There are NO refunds for Van/Bus trips (if you cancel). If your seat can be filled by our Center, we will refund your money minus a $10 processing fee.

North Branford Patch: Are you a baseball fan? If so, who's your team?
Judy Barron: I don’t necessarily enjoy watching baseball, but growing up I knew I had to be a Yankees fan no matter what. I do enjoy playing though, and also coach my daughter’s 14u recreation softball team. It’s more fun to play than watch! Attached you can see a picture of my daughter Isabella giving the thumbs up, ready for her first game of the season!
