North Branford Patch: What's new with the Hazardous Waste and Recycling Committee (HWRC)?
HWRC: We have an opening on our committee. Consider joining North Branford’s Hazardous Waste/Recycling Committee to help make a difference in our community all year long. Dedicated, creative and environmentally friendly volunteers are needed. Make a big difference with just a little of your time. Meetings take place in the Town Manager's Conference Room at the Town Hall second Thursday of every month (except August) at 7:30 p.m. 

North Branford Patch: What is something residents should know?
HWRC: The next quarterly North Branford E-Waste Collection will be held Saturday, July 6, 2013 from 9 a.m. to noon at Public Works on Rte. 22. This is a free public service for town residents to discard electronic waste properly. 

North Branford Patch: Are you a baseball fan? If so, who's your team?
HWRC: The majority of members present at our May meeting cheered for the Mets. Cheers for the Red Sox and the Yankees could also be heard, although not as loudly.
