7 North Branford Restaurants Compete in Best Pizza Contest

NORTH BRANFORD, CT - Seven local restaurants will compete in the annual North Branford Pizza Wars for 2016, organizers announced.

The contest is scheduled for 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on April 26 at Totoket Valley Elementary School, and tickets are $5.

The popular event calls on attendees to taste various pizzas and vote for which one they like the best.

Competing this year are the following restaurants:

• Anthony John's Pizzeria
• The Fire Pizza Company
• Giovanni's Pizzeria & Ristorante
• LaMonaco's Pizza & Pasta
• Louie's Slice Pizzeria
• Pacileo's Apizza & Pasta
• Tony Z's Apizza

All are located in North Branford and Northford, reports Shore Publishing.
