Go Stargazing at Nearby Hammonasset

Have telescope, will travel? Then Meigs Point Nature Center’s stargazing night is right up your alley! But fear not — there are spare telescopes to use, too.

A stargazing night will take place at 6 p.m. Friday, Jan. 16, at 1288 Boston Post Rd., Madison. If the skies are cloudy, the event will take place the next night.

According to the National Weather Service, the skies will be clear and the temperature will be around 21 degrees.

“Bring you telescope or look through one of ours and view the amazing night sky at Hammonasset,” Meigs Point Nature Center said in its Facebook event.
