Lanes to Shift on Route 80 in North Branford

The State of Connecticut Department of Transportation completed the work in front of Central Plaza and North Branford Fire Department Co. 1 today, Sept. 3 with the lanes shifting to the newly finished roadway on the south side of Route 80 on Wednesday, Sept. 4. 

The contractor's next step is to lower the lanes on the north side of Route 80 to the new, lower elevation. 

According to the Everbridge message, "Traffic in this area is very congested at most times throughout the day. Please take alternate routes if possible or allow additional time for your travel."
