Letter: Therrien Says Goodbye in Leaving Interim Town Manager Post

Bonnie Therrien, North Branford's interim town manager for the past nine months, bids farewell as Mike Paulhus begins this week.

The following is a letter from Interim Town Manager Bonnie Therrien as she hands over the reins to the town's new town manager, Mike Paulhus.

To the Residents, Town Council and Staff of North Branford:

Words cannot express my heartfelt thanks for the support, friendship, and hard work given to me as the Interim Town Manager for the last nine months. I know you will do the same for Michael Paulhus, your new Manager.

North Branford and Northford have so much potential to become a ShiningStar of Connecticut. With your enthusiastic volunteers and dedicated staff, I know you will reach your full potential.

Having gone through two major storms in these nine months, I wish to profusely thank Fran Merola and the Public Works staff; Chief Matthew Canelli and the North Branford Police; and Chief William Seward with the Fire/EMS staff for giving 100% to making sure the residents and business owners were safe and we were open for business as quickly as possible. Your outstanding work ethic gave me a lot of confidence that we would pull through these storms in good shape.

I will always have good memories of this community. Keep up the good work and I wish you much success.

Sincerely,
Bonnie L. Therrien
