I don't know about you, but my weekends are getting busy! There's a lot going on, including Matt's Mission 5K this weekend. I'll be there with my family...will you?

And have you heard that Poppy's Restaurant will be open for dinner on Friday and Saturday nights beginning May 17?

Saturday, May 18

• American Flag Exchange: Bring your old, faded, worn out American Flag to Country Paint & Hardware beginning at 10 a.m. and receive a new, American Made, 3' x 5' nylon, American Flag.
  
• Walk-In Rabies Clinic: Head to the Little Red Barn at Bishop's Orchards with your dog or cat beginning at 10 a.m. for a rabies vaccination.

Sunday, May 19

• Matt's Mission 5K begins at 9:30 a.m.
  
• A Low Cost Vaccination Clinic begins at 10 a.m. at Natural Pet Outlet, 3380 Fairfield Avenue, Bridgeport
