North Branford Council To Investigate Parks And Rec Commission

The Town Council is looking into Parks and Recreation Commission members following resignation of the director.

NORTH BRANFORD, CT — The Town Council has opened an investigation into the Parks and Recreation Commission following the resignation of two members and Director Lauren Munro announcing retirement, according to The New Haven Register. Brian Lynch, former chairman of the Parks and Recreation Commission, told the Town Council that members of the commission were micromanaging Munro, constantly showing up at her office and sending her texts.

Lynch said this made it difficult for Munro to do her job and that he believes these members were acting inappropriately.
