North Branford EMT Killed In Accident: Fire Department

Antonio Grandetti, 46, an emergency medical responder with North Branford Fire Department Company #4, was killed Monday.

NORTH BRANFORD, CT — Antonio Grandetti, 46, an emergency medical responder, was killed in a vehicle accident Monday, according to the North Branford Fire Department.

"The heartfelt sympathy of the entire department is extended to the family, relatives, and friends of the deceased in the midst of the great loss that they and the department have sustained," a message from Fire Chief William Seward reads. "Please keep Antonio’s family in your prayers."

The fire company thanked members of the Meriden Fire Department, Hunter's Ambulance and Connecticut State Police "for their hard work in response to this tragic event."
