NBLL 10U Softball Ends Season in District IV Championship

Congratulations to the North Branford Little League 10U All-Star softball team on an amazing season!

The North Branford Little League 10U All-Star softball team's season ended in the District IV championship this weekend as the All-Stars fell to Orange twice in the best-of-three playoffs.

North Branford fell to Orange 5-0 on July 13 in the opener at Totoket Valley Park. North Branford had trouble getting on track against outstanding Orange pitching, heading into a must-win game on July 14.

Orange rallied for two runs in the sixth inning Sunday to take a 7-6 walk-off victory over the North Branford All-Stars and capture the District 4 championship in 10U girls softball in Orange. North Branford had built leads of 4-1 and 6-5 before Orange rallied to capture the best-of-three series.

To advance to the championship series, North Branford posted a 3-1 record, defeating Milford 15-2; East Haven 9-5; and Bethwood 24-0; and losing to Orange 6-4.
