North Branford In Lofty Spot In Latest Girls Soccer Poll

The Thunderbirds were unbeaten in their first five outings this season.

NORTH BRANFORD, CT — Some flip-flopping took place at the top of the weekly Class M/S high school girls soccer poll, with the top four teams trading positions.

Despite receiving one fewer first-place vote, Notre Dame-Fairfield edged into the top spot ahead of defending Class M champion Granby Memorial, with Immaculate and North Branford rounding out the top four.

The first four positions remained unchanged in Class LL/L, with defending LL champion Ridgefield collecting all five first-place votes for the second straight week. Staples, Suffield and St. Joseph maintained spots two through four.
