Nelson G. Averil, 42, of Hobart Street, Southington, was charged with reckless driving, evading, operation while under the influence, improper passing/ safe distance cutting in, failure to drive in proper lane (multi-lane highway), failure to keep drugs in original container, use and possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of narcotics and possession of a controlled substance at 1:52 p.m. on July 5. His court date was set for July 18. Arresting officer: R. Deko
