North Branford Potato and Corn Festival Seeks Volunteers

North Branford, CT - The annual North Branford Potato and Corn Festival is scheduled for Aug. 5-7, and organizers have posted on the event's Facebook page that they are seeking volunteers.

"We welcome all volunteers, and it's never too early to sign up!" organizers wrote. "Summer is already in full swing, and the Fest will be here before we know it. Don't miss out on this great opportunity to give back to your community, gain community service hours, or simply have a great time with even greater people."

The popular festival draws thousands each year to Augur Field on Route 22 the first week in August, featuring rides, musical entertainment, great food, a classic car and motorcycle show and other activities.
