North Branford Woman Crashes Car Into River: Milford Police
Police said two juveniles were in the car.
MILFORD, CT — A North Branford woman is accused of driving while under the influence of alcohol as her car crashed into the Wepawaug River, Milford police said.
On Oct. 10, police responded to Flax Mill Lane between West River Street and North Street on the report of a one car motor vehicle accident into the Wepawaug River, police said.
Investigation led to the arrest of Mary Sickinger-Gambardella, 44, of Pine View Drive, who is accused of driving with an elevated blood alcohol content and two juveniles in the vehicle, police said.

She is charged with DUI and risk of injury.
