North Branford's McGinnis Leads SCSU Field Hockey to Season-Opening Win

North Branford’s Bailey McGinnis enjoyed a career day with three goals to lead the Southern Connecticut State University women’s field hockey team to a season-opening 6-2 victory over Mansfield University Saturday afternoon at Jess Dow Field.

Cheshire’s Lauren Anderson (a junior) and Emma Farrel (a freshman) helped contribute to the victory with a goal and an assist, respectively.
