Amy T. Olesen, 43, of Hamden, formerly a longtime resident of Northford, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 16, 2019 at Yale New Haven Hospital Hospital/ St. Raphael campus with her family by her side. Amy was born in New Haven on August 24, 1975 and was the daughter of Catherine Rice Olesen and the late Theodore B. Olesen.
Amy graduated from Aces High School, was a primary Sunday School Teacher at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Woodbridge and was a Special Olympics athlete.

Sister of Elizabeth Olesen. Also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, as well as her three dogs Ryder, Rocco and Lucky Love Miller.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday morning, June 22 at 11 a.m. in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 990 Racebrook Road, Woodbridge.
