Obituary & Services For Fire Department EMT Antonio Gandetti, 46

East Haven High School graduate Antonio Grandetti was a volunteer EMT for North Branford Fire and worked security for Yale.

NORTH BRANFORD, CT — Antonio Gandetti volunteered as an Emergency Medical Responder for the town of North Branford Fire Dept. Company 4. He had a big heart and would help anyone in need. He always thought of others before himself, his obituary reads.

The 46-year-old married father of twin boys, was killed in a vehicle accident Monday.

"It is with sorrow the North Branford Fire Department announces the that graveside services for NBFD Company #4 Emergency Medical Responder Antonio Gandetti will be conducted on Friday morning at 10 a.m. OUTSIDE the All Saints Mausoleum, 700 Middletown Avenue, North Haven. Members of the Department and external organizations are requested to wear Class A or duty uniforms and arrive at the cemetery at 9 a.m. Assistant Chief of Training Mark Amatrudo will coordinate cemetery assignments," the fire department's Facebook post reads.

A parishioner of Our of Fatima Church, his obituary reads, "Antonio had a passion for cooking and dreamed of having his own restaurant. He loved soccer and teaching his boys about the game. He was an avid Boston Bruins, New York Yankees and New York Giants fan."
