Police Recover A Car Stolen While Running From Daycare Center
Two hours after being stolen, and with the help of an observant East Haven police officer, North Branford police found the SUV.

NORTH BRANFORD, CT —A car left running in a daycare parking lot Tuesday was stolen. It took North Branford police investigators two hours to find it.
It was around 3 p.m. when a black Volvo SUV, left running with doors unlocked, police said, was taken by a man who hopped from a dark-colored SUV that had pulled up alongside the Volvo, and into the vehicle's driver seat and took off.
According to police, the Volvo was seen traveling westbound on Foxon Road and the North Branford police dispatch center quickly told law enforcement in surrounding towns to be on the look out.
