Eastern Student Athlete Sabrina Lemere of North Branford Concludes 2018-19 Women's Basketball Season

WILLIMANTIC, CT -- The women's basketball team at Eastern Connecticut State University concluded its 2018-2019 season with a record of 19-9.

Among the student athletes was Sabrina Lemere '20 of North Branford, who majors in Physical Education and plays guard with the jersey number 15.

The women's basketball team ended its season against Johns Hopkins University with a score of 58-42 in the first round of the NCAA Division III tournament. Despite their loss, the team accomplished a season-high winning streak of six victories in a row and made its 17th NCAA tournament appearance.
