Shoreline Adult Ed to host Computer Classes at the Lobster Shack

In-person classes begin March 24

(NORTH BRANFORD, CT)- Are you stumped by a computer issue? Do you want to improve your tech skills for work? Starting next week, Shoreline Adult Education is offering 3 in-person computer courses at the Lobster Shack in East Haven. Team taught by instructors Haley Lutar and Alicia Crismale, students can expect individual assistance and a personalized lesson plan. You must bring your own laptop or tablet to work on.

Computer Basics Q&A: offered Wednesdays, March 24, March 31, April 7, & April 14

Bring your questions about anything tech, including but not limited to setting up a webcam, cloud storage, emailing, sharing photos, video chatting, and spreadsheets.

Intro to Computer Basics and Google: 4 sessions on Thursdays, March 25, April 1, 8, 15

Learn the basics of your computer from booting up, navigating the web, shortcuts, emails, and more. Designed for beginners, this class covers Google's free applications to make word processing, spreadsheets, video conferencing, and even website building a breeze.

Virtual Toolbox for Educators: 2 sessions offered Wednesdays, March 24, 31 & April 7, 14

Make distance learning a breeze! Designed by educators, for educators, this course will explore a multitude of applications, extensions, websites, tips, tricks, shortcuts, standards, and programs to seamlessly blend traditional classroom lessons and technology-based approaches. You're guaranteed to leave with at least two new lessons to use with your students.
