Should North Branford Town Hall Be Relocated?

North Branford officials reportedly are considering relocating Town Hall.

Officials are studying the feasibility of creating a municipal buildings campus moving town hall offices from its current 909 Foxon Rd. location to property where the police and public works departments are located on Forrest Road, according to a New Haven Register report.

The property where Town Hall sits, at 909 Foxon Road, which is also known as Route 80, is prime commercial and retail land, Town Manager Michael Paulhus told the newspaper the town is considering selling the property on Foxon Road, that’s also known as Route 80 because it is prime commercial property that could be developed.

The town is in the information gathering stage, according to the Register report that can be found here.
