'Traumatic Injuries' Suffered In ATV Accident In North Branford

NORTH BRANFORD, CT — An ATV accident has led to "traumatic injuries" for one person on Saturday night, according to the North Branford Fire Department.

At 8 p.m., several emergency vehicles and crews, responded to the rear of 1807-1 Middletown Ave. in the Northford section of town for an ATV accident in the woods.

Upon arrival personnel located one male patient with traumatic injuries which resulted from the ATV crashing into a tree, officials said.

The victim was given advanced life support at the scene. The patient was transported to Yale New Haven Hospital Trauma Center. North Branford and Regional Water Authority Police are investigating the incident.
