Yolokiss Celebrates Grand Opening on Friday!

Central Plaza has been buzzing with a new business opening its door on Sept. 24. Yolokiss, a self-serve frozen yogurt shop, will celebrate with a grand opening on Friday, Sept. 27.

Yolokiss will have giveaways, free waffle cones and bowls and 20 percent off any customized creation.

"Customers can expect more than just buying a treat, but enjoy the excitement and experience of personally designing their own creation with our endless selection of mix-ins, toppings and healthy fruits and nuts," said owner Jenny Li of the product, which is 49 cents per ounce. 

Li said the shop will offer unique selection of 18 flavors each day and toppings of the freshest quality, along with a specialty smoothie and drink menu. The waffle cones and bowls are hand-pressed daily. Toppings include wet walnuts, mochi, and popping boba. 

"All yogurt served meets the National Yogurt Association's criteria for live and active culture yogurt," said Li "Get the health benefits of yogurt with the creamy taste of ice cream."

"Friends have told us North Branford needs its own yogurt shop and we are excited to hopefully provide a nice place where people can relax, socialize, and enjoy a cup of yogurt," Li added.
