Usher in the holiday season on Sunday, November 29, 2015 when the North Haven Historical Society presents “A 19th Century Christmastide”. The program will be held at the North Haven Corinthian Masonic Lodge, 30 Church Street (on the Green) in North Haven. A traditional musical performance of Victorian-era favorites will begin at 2 PM by Rick Spencer, an historian, researcher, singer, songwriter, and performer. Rick’s hour-long performance includes a selection of songs which were popular toward the end of the 1800s, and are still universally recognizable today. He also accompanies his songs with interesting historical facts about their backgrounds and origins. As always, admission is free, but we ask that you bring a non-perishable food or cash donation for our local food bank. There is plentiful parking, and the Masonic Lodge is handicapped-accessible.
