3 Tips for Yard Sale Shopping

Here's some tips to maximize your tag sale shopping experience while you check out these Patch-listed yard sales.

To get the most out of tag sales this weekend, here are 3 quick buying tips:

  1. Do Research: Check out scheduled sales online a couple days before the weekend to get an idea of where local sales are being held and what items are for sale.
  2. Arrive Early/Late: Arriving early will allow you to get the pick of the "best" items, while arriving late gives you more bargaining power as the sale comes to a close!
  3. Don't be Afraid to Negotiate: When you find an item you like, don't be afraid to ask the seller if they are willing to take a lower price. A seller is usually more willing to come down on price if you bundle several items together.
