4th Of July Fireworks 2021 Near North Haven

NORTH HAVEN, CT — Coronavirus cases continue to drop across the country while the number of those who are fully vaccinated continues to rise, which means there is even more reason to celebrate this Independence Day. July 4 is almost here, so it's time to find out what Fourth of July fireworks and festivities are going on near you.

We have all the fireworks shows, parades and festivals happening in and around North Haven so you can start planning now.

Here's what's in store this July 4 in North Haven and nearby:

What: East Haven Fireworks

Where: Town Beach

When: June 26 at 9 p.m. Rain date is June 28.

Details: Music, food trucks start at 1 p.m.

What: New Haven Fireworks

Where: Atop East Rock

When: Sunday, July 4 at 9 p.m. Rain date is July 5.

Details: Official viewing is from Wilbur Cross High School, with music, and food trucks but people should be able to see the fireworks from anywhere in the city with a view of the monument atop East Rock Park. The summit of East Rock and the Davis Street/Farnum Drive parking lot will be closed July 4. The show will be broadcast live on WTNH.com.

What: Branford Fireworks

Where: Foote Memorial Park

When: Saturday, June 26. Rain date is Sunday, June 27

Details: Some public viewing at Sliney Field with limited parking. Sliney Park will be open in the hours before the fireworks with food trucks. Off-site parking and free shuttle at the exit 53 Cherry Hill commuter lot and Branford High School.
