Burglar Tried To Escape Through Ceiling: North Haven Police

The man is accused of burglarizing a business during the overnight hours in North Haven, according to police.

NORTH HAVEN, CT — An East Haven man is accused of burglarizing a business early Monday morning in North Haven, according to police.

Police responded to T’s Alteration & Laundromat around 4:30 a.m. on the report of a burglary in progress.

Arriving officers found Dino Francis, 58, inside the building trying to escape through the ceiling, according to police.

Francis was arrested and charged with burglary, criminal mischief and possession of burglary tools, police said. He was unable to post bond and is scheduled to be arraigned on Tuesday at Meriden Superior Court.
