Campaign Launched to Keep the Scream Alive in North Haven

An online campaign has been launched to help keep ‘The Only Scream in Town” alive in North Haven.

The Only Scream in Town is an entirely volunteer-run haunted attraction that has been held at The Only Game in Town in North Haven each October since 2012.

The organizers recently lost a very important member of their team with the sudden passing of Olek Golinowski, the owner of The Only Game In Town. Golinowski died of a heart attack on June 28.

“Still recovering from his loss, we’re now struggling to get the funds to be able to open up for this October,” said Cara Canelli, one of the volunteers.

A GoFundMe campaign has been launched to help with the fundraising.

Each year, part of the proceeds from the attraction are donated to a charity, according to Canelli.
