Danielle Morfi: Democratic Candidate, Board of Assessment Appeals

She's advocated at the state level for paid family and medical leave, a livable wage, equal pay, and social justice reform.

Danielle Morfi is the Development Coordinator for the Umbrella Center for Domestic Violence Services, a program of the regional nonprofit, BHcare. Responsible for fundraising, events and community outreach, Danielle works to build awareness of domestic violence and encourage others to support the Umbrella Center's very important mission.

Prior to entering the nonprofit realm, Danielle was a long-time advertising executive responsible for the development and execution of national and international strategic marketing plans for clients such as Lockheed Martin, Amica Mutual Insurance and ConnectiCare. She's managed multi-million dollar budgets and projects for clients within the life sciences, aerospace and defense, insurance, healthcare and security software industries.

Danielle joined the North Haven DTC in 2017 and has volunteered with fundraising events and community outreach, and worked on local and state races.

A resident since 2010, Danielle's husband grew up here, and they are thrilled to be raising their two sons in North Haven. When she's not pretending to be a Ninja Turtle with her little guys, she moonlights as a freelance copywriter and co-leads a local grassroots progressive action network. She's advocated at the state level for paid family and medical leave, a livable wage, equal pay, and social justice reform.
