Daytime Gardeners of North Haven Sponsor Holiday Design Workshop

The Daytime Gardeners of North Haven is sponsoring a workshop for members and guests on November 27, 2018, at 10:00 AM at the North Haven Recreation Center, 7 Linsley Street. Participants will learn how to make a holiday arrangement using a simple homemade container. In spite of its simplicity and low cost, the arrangements have elegance and versatility. Helen Nado, club Vice-President, will lead the program and demonstrate the procedure. Participants will observe and then create their own design with materials provided. These custom-made designs will be unique, incorporating a combination of greens, red carnations, and baby’s breath. Participants will enjoy the opportunity to create their own holiday design while learning how to make a simple, homemade container for future arrangements for personal use, or for gift-giving throughout the year.

Join us for this creative event! The fee for materials is $20. Call the Daytime Gardeners at 203-239-1557 to register by November 20, 2018. Register early as seating is limited. If you prefer, come as a guest to observe and enjoy the activity. A $5.00 donation is appreciated.
