Driver Carjacked At Gunpoint In North Haven: Police
Police are investigating a carjacking in which the victim was robbed at gunpoint of a Lexus on Friday morning in North Haven.
NORTH HAVEN, CT — Police are investigating a carjacking that occurred around 8 a.m. Friday on Garfield Avenue in North Haven.
The victim was robbed at gunpoint of a white Lexus, according to police.
The suspect, described as a black male wearing a dark hoodie, camo gaiter and blue jeans, approached the victim after getting out of what is believed to be a green SUV, possibly a Subaru Outback or Mazda, according to police.

Police said the suspect pointed a gun at the victim as they were looking through their vehicle. The victim handed over the keys and left the area in the victim’s vehicle, a white Lexus with Pennsylvania plates, according to police.
The green SUV also left the area with two occupants inside.

Anyone with a home surveillance system that may have captured video of the suspect(s) and/or their vehicle is asked to consider sharing it with the North Haven Police Department.

“There is no threat to the neighborhood at this time,” police said.
