Gas Station Robbed At Gunpoint In North Haven: Police

The robbery happened early Friday morning, according to police.

NORTH HAVEN, CT — A gas station was robbed at gunpoint early Friday morning in North Haven, according to police.

The robbery happened around 1:40 a.m. at the Sunoco at 95 Washington Ave., according to police.

Police said a dark-colored sedan backed into a space fronting the business and two men with guns entered the store. They both pointed their guns at the clerk and had him empty the cash register, according to police.

They left the store and were last seen heading north on Washington Avenue.

The robbers were described by police as black men who were both wearing masks and gloves, one with a red puffy jacket and the other a gray coat.
