Healthcare Services Company Closing North Haven Location

NORTH HAVEN, CT — A healthcare services company will close its North Haven office in June and lay off nearly 60 people.

ModivCare Solutions, formerly Logisticare, notified state officials Friday that the company will close its location at 127 Washington Ave. in North Haven.

The company’s lease is expiring and it decided to close its operations at the location, according to a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN). The company plans to close June 1 and 59 people will be laid off, according to the notice.

Of those affected, 39 work as call center customer service representatives.

“The affected employees are not represented by a labor organization and have no bumping rights,” officials wrote in the WARN notice. “By letters of this date, all affected employees have been individually notified pursuant to WARN. On or before the effective date of each employee’s termination, the Company will provide information concerning benefits available under separate cover to eligible affected employees.”
