Industrial Building Sells in North Haven

The new owners operate a fiber optics cable company and may use the new space for future expansion.

NORTH HAVEN, CT —Barbara L. Pearce, CEO and President of Pearce Real Estate, recently announced that Phil Barber, a Commercial Associate at the Company’s North Haven Commercial Office, has sold a 9,800-square foot building and 2 acres of land at 66 Leonardo Drive in North Haven for $700,000.

Barber represented the seller of the property, Mason Holdings, LLC. Margaret Bennett, of Margaret Bennett Realty in Wallingford, represented the buyers, Scott Cavallaro and Jason Brenner, who operate a fiber optics cable company and may use the new space for future expansion.

“Phil Barber is off to a good start in 2017,” Pearce said in a press release. “Consistently a deal maker, Phil is tenacious, listens and responds to his clients and so often finds the exact buyer for a property he represents. He’s an asset to clients and our firm.”

Prior to joining Pearce in 1999, Barber worked as an industrial/commercial broker for over 22 years, operating his own company for 20 years. In addition to selling, purchasing, and leasing commercial and industrial space, he works with clients to lay out and design industrial space to their requirements and specifications. To date, his sales and leasing volume exceeds $100 million. He is a member of the Connecticut Association of Realtors, the Real Estate Board of Greater New Haven, and Masonic Lodge #103, North Haven, CT.
