Man Burglarized Shed In North Haven: Police
Police identified the suspect through "physical evidence" that was left at the scene, according to officials.
NORTH HAVEN, CT — A Hamden man is accused of burglarizing a shed in North Haven last November, according to police.
The burglary happened on the west side of North Haven in November 2020, according to police.
Police said “physical evidence” was left behind and seized by officers.

“Detectives processed the item(s), and with the assistance of the State Forensic Lab, a suspect was identified,” police wrote in a post on Facebook.
Detectives obtained additional search warrants and an arrest warrant for Steven Vitale was granted, according to police.

Vitale, 59, was taken into custody Monday while at Meriden Superior Court for unrelated matters, police said.
He was charged with third-degree burglary and fifth-degree larceny.
