Man Charged In Attempted Robbery: North Haven Police
Police said the man was arrested in connection with an attempted robbery at a gas station in North Haven.
NORTH HAVEN, CT — A North Haven man has been arrested in connection with an attempted robbery at a gas station earlier this year, according to police.
Marcus Pires, 49, was arrested Thursday on charges of criminal attempt to commit third-degree robbery and criminal attempt to commit sixth-degree larceny. He is suspected of an “unsuccessful robbery attempt” at a Universal Drive gas station in March, according to police.
Pires is currently incarcerated on unrelated charges stemming from a North Haven incident, police said.
