Man Stole Items From Best Buy, Home Depot: North Haven Police

The man is accused of stealing power tools from Home Depot before going into Best Buy, according to police.

NORTH HAVEN, CT — A Wethersfield man is accused of stealing items from Best Buy and The Home Depot in North Haven on Monday, according to police.

Police responded to Best Buy on Universal Drive on May 24 on the report of a person stealing items from the store.

Arriving officers found a man matching the suspect’s description near Best Buy, according to police.

The man, later identified as 43-year-old Tiny Scott, was found to have stolen an item from Best Buy and discarded it nearby just before officers approached him, according to police.

Scott was also found to be in the possession of several power tools that police said were stolen from Home Depot before he entered Best Buy.

Scott was charged with two counts of sixth-degree larceny.
