Memorial Day Parade Details Announced In North Haven

North Haven's 75th Annual Memorial Day Parade will be held May 29.

NORTH HAVEN, CT — North Haven’s 75th Annual Memorial Day Parade will be held Saturday, May 29.

The parade, which is sponsored by American Legion Post 76, kicks off at 10:30 a.m.

Residents are encouraged to find seating along the route, which starts at North Haven High School, goes east on Bailey Road, then north on Maple Avenue, continues on Church Street, and ends at the corner of Church and St. John. The grandstand will be located at the Green, across the from Town Hall.

George Breuler, an Army veteran and a member of the American Legion Post 76, is this year’s parade Grand Marshal.

The parade will be broadcasted live on NHTV: Comcast channel 18 or 1070, Frontier channel 6051, and on Facebook here.

In the event of inclement weather, the parade will be held on Saturday, June 5.

American Legion Post 76 will conduct a Memorial Day service on the Green at 9 a.m. on May 29. They will be honoring all veterans who have passed since last year. All are welcome to attend.
