North Haven Mini Grants Filled: UPDATE
The town offered mini grants to North Haven small businesses to assist with coronavirus-related expenses.
UPDATE: All of the town's mini grants have been filled, according to town officials.
NORTH HAVEN, CT — The town is offering mini grants to North Haven small businesses to assist with coronavirus-related expenses.
North Haven was recently awarded $5,000 from the United Illuminating /AVANGRID companies to assist local small businesses that may have been impacted financially from the coronavirus pandemic and related expenses.

“The Town will be awarding on a first come, first served basis to the first 10 small businesses who complete and submit an approved application, a mini grant in the amount of $500 to be used toward COVID related expenses (i.e. PPE, partitions, heaters, etc.),” according to a post on the town’s website. “This does not include normal operating expenses such as merchandise, utilities, rent and salaries.”
