New Hartford HealthCare Facility Coming To North Haven

Hartford HealthCare has signed a lease for a new facility at a shopping center in North Haven.

NORTH HAVEN, CT — A new Hartford HealthCare facility is expected to open in the former Sports Authority building at the North Haven Pavilion this summer, officials announced. Hartford HealthCare has leased 40,700-square feet in the shopping center, which is anchored by Target and Michaels, at 200 Universal Drive North, according to National Realty & Development Corp.

Hartford HealthCare’s model includes “six acute-care hospitals, the state’s longest-running air-ambulance service, behavioral health and rehabilitation services, a large physician group and clinical integration organization, skilled-nursing and home health services, and a comprehensive range of services for seniors, including senior-living facilities,” according to a news release.

“National Realty & Development Corp. continues to diversify its centers with complimentary services that transform shopping centers into communities where guests benefit from a one-stop medical, retail, fitness and entertainment destination,” National Realty & Development Corp. President John G. Orrico said. “Hartford HealthCare is the perfect fit for this modernization, and we look forward to their Summer 2020 opening.”
